General Liability Insurance Requirements

In order to meet our commitment to consumers and develop additional job sources, ImproveNet is implementing a General Liability Insurance Standard. There will be four levels of coverage requirements, determined by trade. To receive leads for a particular trade, a member must possess compliant levels of coverage for that trade.

Members who hold $1,000,000 in general liability insurance coverage are eligible to receive leads from all trades and all job sources. For all levels, per occurrence coverage should equal aggregate coverage.

The following must take place in order for a member to receive leads:

1. A member needs to request that his or her insurance company name ImproveNet as a certificate holder. The following address should appear on the certificate:

2. When ImproveNet receives the certificate, the member's record will be given "GOOD" insurance status and the member will be eligible to receive leads.
