Sample Emails

These 3 separate emails, developed by ImproveNet, are offered as templates for our members to use when contacting homeowners.

Since ImproveNet's remodeling leads are generated by homeowners who are active on the Internet, it is a good idea to use email to enhance your early contact with them. (The number one reason a contractor is not chosen for a project is bad communication. Most are not chosen because they did not contact the homeowner fast enough or frequently enough.) These emails are another tool that can be used to set you apart from your competition.

The 3 sample emails include

• The Instant Response Email. This email was designed to be sent to the homeowner immediately upon receiving the contact information (email address) from ImproveNet. This serves as a brief introduction of your company and yourself, and identifies you as a responsive contractor. Members who use the ImproveNet Pro website to get their leads online, will often send a message similar to this one as soon as they have the homeowner's email address. Click here to view.

• The Meeting Confirmation Email. This message should be used after you have talked to and qualified the homeowner's remodeling project. You should have already set up a meeting time, and this email is just a courtesy reminder to the homeowner that you are anxious to meet with them. Click here to view.

• The Meeting Reminder Email. This message reminds the homeowner of the scheduled time for your meeting. You can use a message like this to reconfirm a meeting and avoid missed appointments or wasted time. Click here to view.

These emails are only provided as a template for you to use in developing your own customized message. Please be sure to modify and customize each of these messages, since other ImproveNet pros may be using the same format.
