Topic: Cement/Plaster Fireplaces?

I have seen several fireplaces in magazines that I assume are portland cement plaster. I am having problems trying to find someone to do the work. Gone through the phone book and no one seems to have ever heard of such a thing. How can someone find a contractor with experience in this area....THANKS
