Topic: Install New Shower Doors?
Author: M. Wood

We have a typical 59" long bathtub with a typical double sliding door on a metal frame, attached on either side to tile wall and at bottom to tub. I found a beautiful 1/4" glass double shower door at the local "orange box" for an excellent price. How difficult is it for me to replace the frame and shower doors myself? The sales person there said it only required a hack saw and mitre box to saw the top and bottom parts of the frame to fit the tub and unscrew the present one, break the caulk and install the new frame in the same place. It seems to me that the screws might be in different places and might require drilling into our tile walls? Advice?
