Topic: Wood for Bathroom Walls?

I am remodeling by bathroom which is 13'x 4'. I have ceramic tile around 3 walls. I would like to remove and add wood up to chair rail on the walls. Is it wise to do this as there is much moisture? If so, how should I treat the wood to prevent any damage?
