Topic: Greenboard vs. Cementboard
Author: Michael Butler
Date Posted: 2/21/2002
I am having a new home built in Orlando, and the builder insists on using greenboard in the two showers and one shower/tub combination. I want the builder to use cement backer board (Durock, for example), and I estimate the difference in cost will only be around $100. How can I convince the builder to use the materials that I prefer? Any assistance will be greatly appreciated!
