I have been getting quotes on replacement windows. Today was the highest quote...from Sears. But they made the best presentation by far on their Series 7000 windows with Low-E-Southern Climate and argon gas-filled. Their quote was about $3700 more than the lowest so far for the 13 windows we're replacing (from an independent who also supervises installations for a reputable manufacturer). Is the seeming peace of mind we'd get from Sears worth the extra money? Is Sears' product really all they say it is? Any input from you guys? Thanks.
