Topic: Marble Floor installation

Can someone give me some advise on two things, Is it a dumb idea to install mable flooring in a kitchen? I bought class V marble which is supposedly for high traffic but have heard since this is not a good idea. I haven't started yet. Also, whether or not to use spacing between tiles? I originally intended to install with tiles flush to eachother then started second guessing as I thought about how hard this may become in setting the tile.
