Topic: Garage to HOME OFFICE

High ranch house has a 2-car TANDEM gargare. I would like to put up a wall in the middle to separate the front half (for 1 car)and create home office in the rear half. Foundation has small separation from existing wall. Will this be a problem. Want to hang cabinets or modulars above desk. Can new wall withstand this wait (cabinets will hold books/supplies)? I'm also trying to find a company called NOVA that builds computer desks where monitor is below desk and you peer down through glass to see your work, enabling the desk to keep clear.
