Topic: leaky basement under concrete porch
Author: Chris Byrd
Date Posted: 9/29/2004
My house has a full basement extending under the front porch. The porch is a concrete porch with brick around the outside. It is framed underneath in the basement. When it rains I am getting water in the basement. The water is probably coming in between the brick and concrete porch. I tried to seal the crack between the brick and porch with silicone, but it is still leaking. Is there any product such as an epoxy sealer that I can use over the brick and porch to prevent leaking?
