You people and your Schuco windows

Comon people. When push comes to shove, it's still a vinyl window.
While Schuco may make a very good window, I have a feeling, (from the sound of many of the posts here) there are a lot of salesmen doing some really good selling.
I just bought Sunrise Windows, 14 double hung, 5 picture windows and one 9' doorwall. All white on white with Ultra U Plus glass. 8 of them have standard white muntin bars. I upgraded the doorwall hardware to brushed chrome. Plus all windows get new pine stop and casing primed and ready to paint. All for $10,750.
That's an average of $537.50 a hole. With a lifetime NON prorated TRANSFERRABLE warranty.
There is no way a Schuco window is worth $200 more. The ONLY reason to buy a Schuco window for more is if you find them better looking (and want to pay $200 more a window) or, if you like the construction better.
It would take you 100 years to make up the difference in energy savings.
Further more, your Schuco windows aren't worth jack if they're installed improperly.
Forget the sales pitch and concentrate on installation.
