A few questions:
Does anyone know where I can get PAR30 dimmable compact fluorescents? The R30's that I can find are too long and stick out of my fixtures.
About halogen bulbs. I've read that halogen bulbs are more efficient (lumens per watt) than regualr incandescents. They also burn hotter. I assume this means the filament is hotter, so in high wattage torchiere lamps or work lights with the small bulbs, they obviously get very hot. But in an equal sized bulb, such as a PAR30, shouldn't the halogen be cooler than the equivalent wattage incandescent since it is more efficient?
Thanks.
