We keep hearing that we should glue the tongue and groove wainscoting to the walls; then we hear nail it; then someone told us to hang furring strips and nail it to them. What exactly IS the correct way to hang this type of wainscoting? It is 42" high x 6" wide tongue and groove sections that sit in the baseboard and is capped with chair rail. Would appreciate an answer ASAP. Thanks!
