Topic: Floor Color Suggestions?

Recently I sponge painted my Kitchen walls dark gray background, light to medium gray bagged on(sponged) and then silver glaze over that. I have been contemplating on a black/blue/white marble looking vinyl flooring. I have white cupboards and am thimking of painting the trim white. Do you think that the room would be to dark? I would like to stay away from white.
