I'm posting only because no one else has. I've done very little wallpapering, but when I have it was over walls painted with latex paint and no special measures were taken because it was latex. I've heard that there's a product called "sizing" you can apply to the walls before papering that will make it easier to remove the wallpaper in future. I would just apply the sizing and wallpaper normally.
