Denise, You will require a lockset, four 3.50" ballbearing hinges and either a small surface bolt or a flushbolt. You can cut the door at the height you wish. You will need to stay in the center rail of the door. This will give you a solid bottom and top channel for your new doors. If you attach a shelf to your lower door panel you can mount the surface bolt on the inside of the top leaf locking down into the lower leaf. If you don't put in a shelf you will need to use the flushbolt and mount this into the door edge locking down into the top rail of the lower leaf. Most of your DIY stores may have info on doing this. Good Luck!!!
